1. Home prices are projected to increase by another 10% this year.
2. It will take at least five years for our supply of homes to catch up with buyer demand. This is assuming more buyers don’t enter the market during that time, which won’t be the case.
3. We’re not headed for another housing crisis. Unlike back in 2008, when the housing market crashed, we don’t currently have the adjustable-rate mortgages that contributed to the market downfall, and people aren’t defaulting on their homes.
